Welcome to Sunnystones Country Retreat

Sunnystones is the perfect place for your school camp or getaway. Sunnystones homestead is a unique 21st century, solid rock complex set on 50 acres surrounded by superb State Parklands rich with Australian bird and wildlife.

Sunnystones is a great place for Primary & Secondary School Camps as all bedrooms, bathrooms, dining and meeting areas are located in one large building.

This allows for easy supervision of all students. All rooms have ensuite bathrooms. This style of accommodation is also suitable for adult groups such as, catered or self catering options available. Indoor recreation, conference and dining facilities, plus outdoor BBQ and Camp Fire area. Take a closer look at our campsite and the type of activities we can supply.

Our fully staffed school camp program has been developed over many years. The program does not only provide the students with a great time, the activities also place a large emphasis on the development of interpersonal skills through a range of initiative and team based activities.

Possibly the single most important benefit of school camping lies in the social interactions which occur when living for a few days in an isolated, cohesive community.

We are small enough to involve each individual in sharing the responsibility of running the camp.

ACCREDITATION: Sunnystones is proud to be accredited by the Australian Camping Association. Accreditation indicates that we have been independently appraised and meet the core requirements for the safe and responsible operation of a campsite.

SAFETY: Sunnystones is essentially a safe site as all facilities are located within the one building and any emergencies can be referred to the owners who live in the same building. Bacchus Marsh is just 10 minutes away providing all services necessary.

We are not institutionalised! We offer great scope for environmental education in either an active or a passive way. Above all, we want our guests to have an enjoyable time and take pleasure in our hospitality.
